Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The proteins in their dishes are delicious - I had the Octopus and Chorizo Tostada, and the Camarones a la Diabla, and in both cases, they were spiced and sauced to perfection. The tostada shell, however, had been deep fried for far too long - overcooked and very oily. This was a similar case with the Potato Flautas I ordered as an addition. 3 stars. Enjoyed the meat, did not enjoy what accompanied it.

Fav go to spot in Wellington. We have been coming here for a couple of years now and it doesn’t disappoint! I highly recommend joining the wait list online as it can be quite a wait at times. Recommend literally anything on the menu!

Go here. Just do it. Stop searching for a food spot to soak up all that wine after a hard day of sipping the fermented grape juice. Just go here. Close to all the PEC wineries, and worth the stop. The mezcalita sour (agave balances out all the wine *wink*) is to die for and great way to start your Mexican experience. The braised beef tacos were the highlight, well seasoned and exploding with flavour. And I’m usually not a taco fan. These are worth it, along with the others. To top it off, the Tres Leches found its way into my heart, and mouth. Just a lovely way to top off our day in this top notch Mexican themed cozy spot. Just go!

Went here for dinner with my wife and wow. The food was just amazing. They gave us 3 and a half street corns and they had so much flavour. The octopus and chorizo tostada was decent but it was just so spicy for me. Still I couldn't stop myself since it was still tasty and finished the dish even as I was sweating bullets. The seared chicken taco and braised beef taco were delicious as well. If you are hankering for some Mexican food, this is the place.

We went for lunch on a family day weekend and like always La condesa didn’t disappoint. They had their winter menu and we loved their veggie tostada, fish tacos and chocolate mousse. We also ordered their bean and mushroom taco which was good too but would still recommend tostada over the taco.

Highly recommend the tuna tostada and fish tacos. Fish tacos were the best one we had overall. We tried the octopus and chorizo which was also good. The mushroom tacos were lackluster as it was more on the dry side. The staff gave us some spicy oil to add on all tacos, that made a huge difference.

We had tacos and they were delicious: Fish Tacos - 4/5 Chicken Tacos - 4/5 Shrimp Tacos - 4/5 I wish Fish Tacos also had guacamole or avocado on it. Maybe a bit lime on the side would have been awesome too. The restaurant is a bit pricey too.

Great ambience, even better food! Tried almost everything on the menu. Tostados and tacos were both amazing. The corn was a delightful surprise - such a delicacy. Hard to pick a favorite because everything was so good. The Tinga and the Tuna would probably top the list. The tequila flight was also a nice offering, and needless to say, the margharita was top notch. Given the small servings, going for a full meal, drinks and all, turned out a bit pricey but the excellence was worth every dollar. In contrast to the many overrated places in the PEC area serving mediocre food at inflated prices, La Condesa is a shining gem. Best meal out I had in a really long time. If you are setting aside just one evening to spoil yourself while in the area, it’s gotta be La Condesa!
